| A five-minute drive to the resort. Our official "lunch" place |
Cheerio! I just got back from the beach with my awesome and crazy friends. This was a weekend firsts for me:
- Drove 140km/h
- Drove out of town on a longggg trip (Burned 320km on my car's mileage)
- Had my car break down on the last leg of the first journey (a burning smell took over my car when I went on 140km/h. Turns out my itsy bitsy Minxie isn't built for speed AND passengers, so I had to boot a friend so I can go faster)
- Went snorkeling (and drank lots of salt water)
- Admitted my favorite element (Oh no, I'm not putting that one in here)
- Was forced to "dance" (and I'm using the term loosely in this sentence. No alcohol was induced, mind you, which makes it more embarrassing for me)
- Followed my GPS and my heart (because I wanted to buy my mom some tarts), only to have the app lead me to an entirely different route, one that took me to a long and winding road. I just wanted to go to Tagaytay, and I found myself in Talisay and Tanauan Batangas. >.< Yes, I took the road with the scary zigzags. And this is from the girl who's afraid of going to Antipolo. (Check out the words of caution in Club Balai Isabel's official website: Please exercise caution: this is a steep road. Club Balai Isabel is one of the resorts and establishments I passed by on my impromptu road trip)
- On the other hand, I finally found out what the "S" option is for on my gear shift. It helped me climb the zigzags and curves.
- Drove on a zigzag with heavy rain, a nervous passenger, and an even more nervous driver (that's me. My knuckles were white by the time I finally saw Tagaytay Rotonda)
- Finally, the first time I went to the beach with friends.
Obviously, I had the time of my life. I am burned to a crisp and longing for a cold scrub, but I wanted to jot down these thoughts before I turn in for the night. It was an exhilarating and refreshing experience. Best of all, I managed to bond with the people I trust and love.
Toodles! ~

You immortalized our trip--given that Blogger won't take down your site. Hahaha! But I love #s 5 & 6, and then super love #10. It's an 'epic weekend' indeed, sis. I'm glad I went for a ride, swim, and laugh with you. *hugs*
